The Heart of Gissing CIO holds in trust The Gissing Community Building Building and the adjacent Old School Building, (currently leased to Gissing Children’s Centre) and these buildings are managed by the trustees of the CIO in accordance with the charities objectives.

The Heart of Gissing is delighted to have recently won the South Norfolk Connecting Communities Award 2025. This celebrates the impact the trust has had on our local community which has spanned the past 22 years, offering opportunities for social and cultural interaction, raising three quarters of a million pounds to build a state of the art community building, harnessing local talent and inspiration with care and inclusion, enriching Gissing as a place to live.
