A talk about the social history of the Norfolk Broads starting with why they were formed from the peat digging and then looking at the roles of the wherrymen and marshmen who were vital to the Broads development before it became a tourist attraction. There the section on smuggling and this was rife in the 19^th century across the county and finishing with the present day and the potential future for reed harvesting.
